Autumn (??) market done

Well, for a date at the start of autumn, last weekend's market sure felt like the height of summer... the temperature hit well over thirty as the sun shone over Bendigo all weekend. A massive thank you to all of you who came to browse the wonderful creative goodies we had on offer. And a whole lotta love to our stallholders who, as always, completely rocked.

Sneak peek: Felt and Grain

Today's sneak peek is Felt & Grain, a new stallholder to our little market with a gorgeous product. Camilla is a Columbian artist who now resides in Australia and creates wonderful and whimsical felt creatures in felt, inspired by fairytales and magical children's stories.

Sneak Peek: me & em graphic design

If you have a new baby to buy for you'll certainly need to stop by the Me & Em Graphic Design stall. You'll love the sweet, vintage style of their nursery decor. Each of their products fits their philosophy of creating a child's room that is a tranquil and beautiful haven. The product range includes alphabet and number posters, personalised name posters, height charts and wall decals.

Sneak peek: Oktoberdee

Yet another new stallholder you'll see for the first time with us on Saturday... the lovely Lauren from Oktoberdee.

Oktoberdee is an amazing label that is all about beautiful, clever and functional design. Be sure to check out the new 'Arizona' range of leather bags and purses featuring geometric detailing and a subtle southwest style. Many pieces feature unique timber panelling that frame gorgeous illustrations from talented artists and illustrators. Oktoberdee is also known for its unique approach to jewellery design, with a brand new collection featuring a blend of materials including leather, stones and timber. The aesthetic ties in beautifully with it Southwest styling and bold features.

Sneak peek: Two Layers of Cells

We're delighted to welcome back Jane from Two Layers of Cells and her amazing work this weekend... this is the kind of stall that always gets your attention as you wander on market day simply because the product is eye-catching, clever, beautifully made and so distinctive. Two Layers of Cells make limited edition lamp shades and one-off light boxes from re-purposed vintage and recycled materials.

Sneak peek: PopcornBlue

PopcornBlue was a stall well-loved when we had them previously, so we're delighted to welcome them back!

Popcornblue is about creating whimsical often quirky, sometimes unusual and always dreamy prints for both children and adults alike. More than just a picture, PopcornBlue’s intention is to spark the imagination with an ever changing story that unfolds before your eyes. Rabbits having high tea, elephants flying a zeppelin balloon, an incredible snail with a city on its back and a whale-shark’s indulgence in a Victorian bathtub... just a few of the images conjured up by PopcornBlue!

The Orc Wood Designs stall will feature an eclectic range of creations, including girl's clothing and accessories, and the amazing dino-roar hoodies. Run by a creative lady with more ideas than time to make, there will be lots to choose from and browse on market day!
